Graham County Electric Cooperative, Inc. (GCEC) filed an application with the Arizona Corporation Commission (“ACC”) for an increase in revenues on October 31, 2017. After evaluating all the evidence, the ACC issued Decision No. 76693, on May 22, 2018, authorizing an overall 2.4% increase in revenue for GCEC. The last general rate increase for GCEC was effective May 1, 2008.
A residential customer with monthly electric consumption of 819 kilowatt-hours (kWh) (average usage) will see an increase in his/her bill of $2.25 per month (from $99.40 to $101.65), or 2.26%. A residential customer with monthly electric consumption of 700 kWh (median usage) will see an increase in his/her bill of $2.25 per month (from $86.27 to $88.52), or 2.61%. The proposed percentage increases by rate class over existing base rates are:
